Emory “Red” Hinkler Park is a charming, wooded park nestled along Four Mile Creek. A peaceful retreat in the Borough, the park features a playground, open fields, and two covered pavilions. In 2025, a public restroom facility was added and is available during the summer months.
Please note: The park is closed from dusk to dawn.
The park is named after Emory “Red” Hinkler who was a long time Public Works employee of the Borough.
Pavilion Rentals
A favorite gathering spot in the community, the park has hosted countless events—from family reunions and birthdays to community celebrations. Now, it can host yours too!
Two pavilions are available for public rental.
Rental Information
- Open for booking seven days a week
- Weekday discounts available
- Reduced rates for Borough residents
- $100 refundable security deposit required (returned following satisfactory post-event inspection)
- Available to all members of the public
Rental Fees
- Full-Day Rental: $160
- Borough Resident Discount: –$20
- Weekday Discount: –$20
