Would you like to honor your family members or friends who have served or are currently serving in the United States Military? If so, consider sponsoring a hero banner in their honor to be displayed around the Borough.

These Hometown Hero banners will showcase a photo, their rank, and service branch and they will be on display Memorial Day through Veterans Day annually.

Special thank you to the Wesleyville American Legion Post #571 for covering the cost of the brackets to hang the banners.

It is estimated that the banners will get 3 seasons’ worth of usage before they will become weathered to the point of needing to be replaced.

Any servicemember who lives/lived in Wesleyville is eligible to get a banner.

Cost is $60 per banner.

Deadline to submit has been extended one week to March 28th, 2024.

Start by filling out the PDF form attached or stop by the Borough Hall to pick up a blank copy.

For the image, either mail the picture to 3210 Skellie Ave., Erie, PA 16510 or email a digital copy to Iam4songs@aol.com.

Make checks payable to the Borough of Wesleyville and mail or drop off a completed copy of the form with payment to the Borough Office at 3421 Buffalo Road, Erie, PA, 16510.
