Morrison Park

Located at the corner of Highland Ave and 30th Street, Robert C. Morrison Park is the Borough’s southernmost park, situated in the College Heights area. Named after a dedicated community member who played a significant role in the Borough’s development, the park has long been a part of the neighborhood.

Until recently, the park contained old, dilapidated equipment that posed a safety hazard. In the summer of 2024, the Borough removed the equipment, transforming the area into an open green space.

The Borough has secured a $60,000 PA DCNR grant to purchase new, safe playground equipment. Efforts are now underway to secure the remaining $30,000–$60,000 needed to fully fund the project and move forward with installation.
