Mechanical Device License

A Mechanical Device License is required for any business that owns or operates mechanical, electronic, or video amusement devices that generate revenue. This license ensures compliance with local regulations and supports proper revenue collection for the Borough.

The license confirms that businesses operating these devices are registered and meeting local tax obligations.

This requirement has been in effect since 1948.

The license must be obtained annually and visibly displayed at the place of business.

License Fees – Per Device Type

  • Dart Game: $130.00 per unit
  • Foosball Table: $130.00 per unit
  • Pinball Machine: $130.00 per unit
  • Pool Table: $130.00 per unit
  • Video Game: $130.00 per unit
  • Note: “Skill games” are classified as video games.
  • Jukebox: $80.00 per unit
