Recycling

The Borough has a single stream recycling program available to all the households in the Borough.
Household collections occur biweekly borough wide on Thursday morning, but you can put the night before to ensure you don’t miss the truck.
The Borough collects curbside:
- Aluminum, steel, iron & tin cans
- Plastics #1 & #2 ONLY
- Cardboard, bundled newspaper & paper (non-wax, no magazines, no plastic film)
The Borough does NOT COLLECT:
- Light bulbs, Dishes, Pyrex, Pots and pans, VCR tapes, Tools, Plastic bags, Magazines, Soft cover books/Phonebooks, Plastic wrap, Egg cartons, Lids, Recyclables containing food waste, Paints or oils, Styrofoam, Hazardous materials
Recycling Center –
The Recycling center is located at the eastern end of Woodlawn Ave by the creek.
For your convenience, there are bins here where residents can drop-off recyclable material, the same items are accepted here as accepted curbside.
