At the Council Meeting on May 22nd, 2024, Borough Council approved of beginning the bid process for the Borough intersection corner and catch basin upgrades with the bid opening scheduled for the June 12th Council Meeting.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Wesleyville Borough of Erie County at 3421 Buffalo Road, Erie, PA, 16510 until 4PM on June 12th, 2024

Included in the bid is;

• 12 ADA Ramps – All four corners at the intersection of Eastern Ave & Edison Ave. Two corners at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue.
• 2 Standard Inlet Boxes & 2 Type C Frame and Bicycle Safe Grates – Two catch basins being replaced on the west side of the intersection of Eastern Ave & Edison Ave.

Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day.

Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality.

The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality.

A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Northwest Corner looking across the street, this pad will need to be slightly wider so that the crosswalk will be able to be received on the other side of the street without interfering with the drivethrough.
